MARILYN EXHBITION COMES TO SELKIRK

Scotland fans in the UK are in for a treat this week, as an exhibit of Monroe memorabilia, movie posters, newspaper clippings and more, will be going on display until November 28th.

Denis Roberts and Sue Briggs, who are due to open their “General Store” next year in 2021, are using the shop unit as a temporary home for the Monroe memorabilia.  The exhibition will be open for free entry from 10am to 4pm each day between November 21-28, and will open until 7pm on Friday, November 27.

MARILYN PORTRAIT EXHIBITION IN UK

UK fans are getting spoiled this year, as another Marilyn Monroe photographic exhibition is heading our way this year, hot on the tail of the up and coming “Up Close With Marilyn: Portaits by Milton H. Held in Suffolk at the Moyse’s Hall Museum, the website reads:
An iconic exhibition of images from some of the 20th Century’s greatest photographic artists.
Experience a prestigious, hand-curated, collection of rare vintage photographs and limited edition prints celebrating the remarkable life and career of Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe. 

The exhibition runs from 2nd June to 30th September and a £5 entry fee.
