The Marilyn Remembered Fan Club is currently planning and coordinating several events to celebrate Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday. Below is our preliminary schedule, which will be updated as details are confirmed. Please check back often for the latest updates.
Room Block Announced at the Avalon
for Marilyn’s 100th Birthday Celebration

Marilyn Remembered has arranged for a block of discounted rooms at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills for those traveling in for the Marilyn Monroe 100th birthday celebration.
The Avalon, formerly the Beverly Carlton Hotel, was one of Marilyn’s residences in the early 1950s and the setting for many well known photographs of her. It makes a wonderful place to stay while celebrating Marilyn’s centennial.
Special room rates (plus tax and fees):
- Classic King in Beverly — $209++ per night
- Deluxe King Balcony — $229++ per night (6 rooms available)
- Junior Suite Balcony — $299++ per night (6 rooms available)

- Tentative: Los Angeles Bus Tour of Marilyn Monroe Sites and Locations, offered by author Elisa Jordan of LA Woman Tours. The tour will start in the morning. Actual time and ticket purchase link to be announced.
Friday, May 29
- 1:00 PM: A panel discussion and Marilyn Monroe exhibit at the Los Angeles Public Library, hosted by the All Things Marilyn Podcast.
- A special Marilyn Monroe evening film screening sponsored by Julien’s Auctions to take place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. More details to come once finalized.
Saturday, May 30
- Daytime and evening events to be announced once confirmed.
Sunday, May 31
- Official opening day of the Marilyn Monroe Exhibit at the Academy Museum. Hours are 10AM to 6PM. Buy tickets here.
- 6:30 PM: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, David Geffen Theater. Details and tickets here.
Monday, June 1
- 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Marilyn Monroe 100th Birthday Celebration SOLD OUT
